Decomposition-Based Multi-Classifier-Assisted Evolutionary Algorithm for Bi-Objective Optimal Wind Farm Energy Capture

With the wake effect between different wind turbines, a farm generally aims to achieve maximum energy capture by implementing optimal pitch angle and blade tip speed ratio under speeds. During this process, balance of fatigue load distribution is easily neglected because it difficult be considered, and, thus, high maintenance cost results. Herein, novel bi-objective (OWFEC) constructed via simultaneously taking power output into account. To rapidly acquire high-quality Pareto solutions, decomposition-based multi-classifier-assisted evolutionary algorithm designed for presented OWFEC. In order evaluate effectiveness performance proposed technique, simulations are carried out with three scales farms, while five familiar Pareto-based meta-heuristic algorithms introduced comparison.
